Formats & Course Info

Each round is played at a different world-class course with a unique format. Stableford scoring applies throughout — if you cannot score points on a hole, pick up your ball immediately to keep pace of play.

BRG Norman Course
R1 · Mon 23 Mar · ×1 Points
BRG Norman Course
Designed by Greg Norman · Links-style coastal
⛳ 2-Man Scramble
Both players tee off on every hole. Compare both drives and select the best ball position. Both players then play their next shot from that spot — repeating this process on every subsequent shot until the hole is completed.
⚠️ If you cannot make Stableford points on a hole — pick up and move to the next hole immediately.
🧮 Team Handicap — 2-Man Scramble
round(0.35 × lower CH + 0.15 × higher CH)
Lower CH = the player with the lowest (best) course handicap.
E.g. CH of 10 & 20: (0.35×10) + (0.15×20) = 3.5 + 3 = 6.5 → 7 playing handicap

BRG Nicklaus Course

BRG Nicklaus Course
Designed by Jack Nicklaus · Championship layout
⛳ Greensomes
Both players tee off on every hole. Select the best drive — the player whose drive was not selected plays the next shot. After that, players alternate every shot until the hole is completed. (Both tee off → choose best drive → other player plays 2nd shot → alternate to the hole.)
MINIMUM OF 6 TEE SHOTS PER PERSON MUST BE CHOSESN
⚠️ If you cannot make Stableford points on a hole — pick up and move to the next hole immediately.
🧮 Team Handicap — Greensomes
round(0.60 × lower CH + 0.40 × higher CH)
E.g. Player A = CH 10, Player B = CH 20: (0.6×10) + (0.4×20) = 6 + 8 = 14 playing handicap
Note: Nicklaus Course has different Course Ratings & Slopes for Men and Women on the same tee colour.

Day + Night Golf Experience
Tee off from 13:00 and play through into the evening, finishing the round under floodlights for one of the most unique and spectacular golf experiences in Asia. A truly unforgettable round!
Both players play their own ball for the full round. On each hole, the higher of the two individual Stableford scores counts as the team score. Both players must complete every hole they can score on — both scores are recorded on the scorecard.
⚠️ If you cannot make Stableford points on a hole — pick up and move to the next hole immediately.
🧮 Individual Handicap Allowance — 85%
Each player receives 85% of their individual course handicap for this round.
E.g. Course HCP 10 × 85% = 8.5 → 9 playing handicap

Both players play their own ball for the entire round. On every hole, both players' Stableford points are added together to form the team score. Every player contributes on every hole — both scores count every time.
⚠️ If you cannot make Stableford points on a hole — pick up and move to the next hole immediately.
🧮 Individual Handicap Allowance — 95%
Each player receives 95% of their individual course handicap for this round.

Leaderboard Points System

After each round, every team receives finishing position points based on their Stableford standing. These are then multiplied by that round's multiplier and added to the running tournament total.

Round 1Standard ×1 finishing position points
Round 2Standard ×1 finishing position points
Round 3Double ×2 — position points doubled
Round 4Triple ×3 — position points tripled

🤝 Tied positions split the points. Example: two teams tied 2nd = (96+94)÷2 = 95 pts each. The next position then receives 92 pts.

Fair Play Handicap Adjustments

To ensure a level playing field throughout the tournament, the following adjustments apply to teams that significantly outperform the field. These help reward great play while keeping the competition tight for everyone.

Adjustment #1 — Rounds 1, 2 & 3

Applied to the leading team after each round

If the leading team finishes ahead of 2nd place by the following margins, each player in that team has their handicap index deducted accordingly for all subsequent rounds:

Lead Over 2nd PlaceHCP Deduction (per player)
3 points ahead– 1.0
4 points ahead– 2.0
5 points ahead– 2.5
6 points ahead– 3.0
More than 6 ahead– 4.0
Example: Leading team scores 46 pts, 2nd on 43 pts — a 3-point lead → each player loses 1.0 from their handicap index for all remaining rounds.

Adjustment #2 — Round 3 Only

Individual adjustment · Betterball Stableford only

Since Round 3 (Betterball Stableford) has both players completing their own individual scores, an additional individual adjustment applies if a single player scores exceptionally well:

📌 Players must record both players' scores on the official scorecard. Picking up is still permitted on holes where you cannot score.
Individual Points ScoredIndex Deduction
38 individual points– 0.5
39 individual points– 1.0
40 individual points– 2.0
41+ individual points– 3.0
