Booking Terms and Conditions for International Pairs Festival of Golf
1. Introduction
These Booking Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the booking and payment process for the International Pairs Festival of Golf (“Event”) hosted on the website www.ipfestivalofgolf.com. All bookings and payments for the Event will be managed by Rhodium Events & Hospitality Ltd (“Rhodium Events”), a company registered in England and Wales under Company Reg No. 09123259, with VAT Reg No. 202137955, and having its registered address at 4 Knighton Road, Four Oaks, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, B74 4NY. By booking and making payments for the Event, you agree to comply with these Terms. Please read them carefully before making your reservation.
2. Booking Process
To book your participation in the International Pairs Festival of Golf, you must visit the official Event website, www.ipfestivalofgolf.com and complete the booking form seen here: BOOKING FORM
During the booking process, you will be required to provide accurate and complete information, including your personal details and payment information.
By submitting your booking, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms and authorize Rhodium Events to charge your provided payment method.
3. Payments & Deposits
A minimum, non-refundable deposit of £150.00 (British Sterling Pounds) per person must be paid at the time of when you have completed the form and received your payment request from Rhodium Events. We reserve the right to ask for an additional deposit amount for special requests bookings where we need to pre-pay to the supplier(s) an additional sum to secure a booking. The balance of the price of your product must be paid no later than 8 weeks in advance of your date of travel, (the “Balance Due Date”). If the deposit, balance or final balance (as applicable) is not paid by the Balance Due Date, Rhodium Events reserves the right to cancel your booking and retain your deposit paid.
The cost of your accommodation does not include any services that you may use or purchase whilst at the accommodation other than those specifically included in the price of your holiday as set out in your booking confirmation. You must pay the hotel directly for such additional services..
4. Changes to Your Reservation
4.1 Amendment Requests: Should you wish to make changes to your reservation, such as altering the number of individuals in your group booking, transferring your booking to another person, or cancelling your booking, kindly notify us in writing via email. The lead name, who initially made the booking, is responsible for initiating these changes.
4.2 Cancellation Fees: Please be aware that cancellations may result in incurred costs, especially when they occur close to the departure date. In such cases, you may be subject to a cancellation fee. If you cancel before the Balance Due Date, we reserve the right to retain the deposit paid by each person who cancels. If your cancellation takes place on or after the Balance Due Date, a cancellation fee may be charged, potentially equal to the balance of your booking price, depending on the cancellation costs incurred from our suppliers and the proximity of your cancellation to your travel date. If you’ve already paid your balance at the time of cancellation, the cancellation amount will be deducted from the balance, with any remaining difference refunded to you. It’s important to note that if your reason for cancellation is covered under your personal travel insurance policy, you may be eligible to recover these charges.
4.3 Amendment Requests and Transfers: All requests for amendments are subject to availability and may not always be accommodated. In certain circumstances, such as illness, the death of a close relative, or jury service, we may consider transferring your booking to another person if we receive a minimum of 14 days’ notice before the departure date, provided that the new traveler meets all booking conditions. Proof of eligibility may be required. For other amendments, you may be asked to pay an administration charge reflecting the costs incurred by International Pairs S.L. and Rhodium Events in making the changes. Please note that these costs may increase as the departure date approaches. Particularly, if changes result in an odd number remaining in your party, single room supplements may apply. We recommend contacting us as soon as possible to facilitate any modifications to your reservation.
5. Changes or Cancellations by International Pairs S.L. & Rhodium Events
5.1 Updates and Corrections: On occasion, Rhodium Events & International Pairs S.L. may need to make modifications to and rectify errors in brochures and on our website, both before and after bookings have been confirmed, or even cancel confirmed bookings. While we make every effort to minimize such changes and cancellations, we must retain the right to do so. However, please be assured that we will not cancel your booking after the Balance Due Date, except for reasons of force majeure (as defined in clause 7 below) or your failure to make the final balance payment by the Balance Due Date.
5.2 Notification of Changes: In most instances, these changes will be minor, and you will be promptly informed of them. In cases of a “significant change,” you will be notified as soon as reasonably possible, provided there is sufficient time before your departure. If International Pairs S.L. and/or Rhodium Events introduces a significant change or cancels your holiday, you will be presented with the following options:
Accept the revised arrangements.
Choose to cancel the booking, in which case you will receive a full refund of all payments made to Rhodium Events (subject to clause 5.3).
5.3 Exceptions to Refunds and Compensation: Please note that refunds and compensation will not be payable, and International Pairs S.L. and Rhodium Events will have no liability to you if we are compelled to make a change or cancellation due to force majeure (as defined in clause 14 below) or as a result of your failure to adhere to any of these booking conditions entitling us to cancel (such as timely payment).
5.4 Golf Course Conditions: Golf clubs and golf courses reserve the right to either close the golf course or implement temporary tees and greens at their sole discretion due to adverse weather conditions. We will make every effort to notify you in advance of any circumstances that may affect the condition or playing experience at relevant courses. However, we accept no liability if we have not been informed by the supplier(s) in question regarding such changes.
6. Liability
Rhodium Events shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from your participation in the Event, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.
7. FORCE MAJEURE
In these booking conditions, “force majeure” means any event which we or the supplier could not, even with all due care, foresee or forestall. Such events may include, without limitation, war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, actual or threatened terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire, epidemics and pandemics and all similar events outside our or our suppliers’ control.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
